What positions do we have, and what should you know?

Web Developer

Job location: Remote or Botoșani
  • Advanced PHP programming: at least 5 years of experience
  • PHP framework knowledge: Zend 1/Zend 2/Laravel/Symfony
  • Relational database knowledge: MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Comfortable using: Linux operating systems, Git
  • Web technology knowledge: HTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
  • A plus: Git, NodeJS, Memcache, Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc

Frontend Developer

Job location: Remote or Botoșani
  • Frontend/UI development: advanced, demonstrable experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML/HTML5
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS or similar) and CSS preprocessors (Sass or LESS)
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of core web technologies
  • Experience building scalable, responsive pages/interfaces
  • Experience slicing Photoshop designs into HTML/CSS
  • A plus: Git, NodeJS, Grunt, advanced Photoshop/Illustrator design skills, etc

System Administrator

Job location: Remote or Botoșani
  • Linux server installation, configuration, and administration: at least 3 years of experience
  • Windows server installation, configuration, and administration: if you're a Linux die-hard, you can get away with knowing nothing about Windows :)) If not, you should be able to handle medium-complexity tasks.
  • Apache, Nginx, and other web services configuration, bash, Perl/Python: advanced knowledge
  • Routing, Switching, Networking: intermediate level, but intermediate doesn't mean just knowing how to ping
  • Relational database administration: MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Linux server security, webserver security, application security, network security, and other security areas: This one really matters! You need to be a guru, or close to it!
  • Intermediate knowledge of: VMware, Veeam, Asterisk, HAproxy, ActionHero, Magento, Varnish/Caching, Fortigate routers, any other type of router, and anything else that can be installed and managed from Linux....
  • A plus: any other technology you know how to install, configure, and manage
